A Synthesis of the Three Mountains

Joaquin Amortegui Valbuena (V.M. Rabolú)

INTRODUCTION

Dear Reader:

I’ve written this work to summarize the whole path and what every student has to do to reach Liberation.

I hope this won’t be one of the many that have been written about this subject to just be learned by memory; this one is for putting into practice. This one is not for arguments or lectures, but practice.

What I want to show you with this book is the shortest, quickest route for reaching Liberation.  So I took on the job of investigating very thoroughly, through practice, what is the real path that every student must follow, so that I can leave you this book as an inheritance.

We've already heard a lot of theories and a lot of speeches. Let's see:  what’s become of it all?  Nothing!  All that remains is the emptiness that those things leave in their wake.  So, then, with this book I want you to reach the initiatic path.

This book is for humble people, people who yearn to free themselves from the mechanical laws that have done us so much harm.  We’ve become organs of Nature and we’ve truly forgotten what we came from and where we should be going to.

We need to put pride away and patiently practice the guide I’m giving in this book, so that you can experience it and so that you yourselves can give testimony later on to others who ask.  We should never just learn for ourselves alone, but we should always think of humanity first.

In general, when we think about humanity that’s how the spark of love keeps growing and getting stronger inside of us, and the ascent is more effective.  So, then, let’s learn in order to teach, not just to keep all the knowledge for ourselves while humanity perishes.

I’m one of those who don’t want even one Soul to be lost.  That’s why I struggle and sacrifice, so that you truly understand what it is that every student has to do; so that you don’t waste your time with people’s vague, incoherent theories that leave nothing in the Consciousness because those people don’t even know what they’re talking about.

When we talk, it’s best if we know what we’re talking about, as I’m doing now with my heart in my hand, begging you to practice in order to come out of the state of unconsciousness that you’re in.

We can say that wisdom expresses through us when we’re prepared.  How can wisdom be expressed if we’re unprepared?

We’ve listened to many know-it-alls from the street who come in acting like they’re Masters or Hierarchs, and they’re full of pride, greed, lust; full of all the defects you can see being visibly expressed through them.

A person who tries to appear wise or humble is as far away from those things as you can be, because humility and wisdom are born when one is well-prepared, without a need for commentary or appearances.

I ask those who read this work to please forgive the literary errors found in it, because I’m not a writer or an intellectual.  I’m just describing in my own simple and practical words what I know:  the path of Liberation.

Fraternally,
Joaquin Amórtegui Valbuena (V. M. Rabolú)
