A Treatise of Revolutionary Psychology
CHAPTER 4
THE ESSENCE
What makes every newborn child beautiful and adorable is that child’s Essence. This Essence itself constitutes the child’s true reality…
The normal growth of the Essence in every child is certainly very residual, very incipient…
The human body grows and develops according to the biological laws of the species; however, such possibilities in and of themselves are very limited for the Essence…
Unquestionably, the Essence by itself, without help, can only grow to a very small degree…
Speaking frankly and plainly we will say that the spontaneous and natural growth of the Essence is only possible during the first three, four and five years, that is, in the first stage of life…
People think that the growth and development of the Essence always takes place in a continuous way according to the mechanics of evolution, but Universal Gnosticism clearly teaches that it does not happen that way…
In order for the Essence to grow more, something very special must occur, something new has to happen…
I’m referring emphatically to the work on oneself. The development of the Essence is only possible on the basis of conscious works and voluntary sufferings…
It is necessary to comprehend that these works are not referring to matters of profession, banks, carpentry, masonry, railroad repairs or office matters…
This work is for every person who has developed the personality; it’s about something psychological…
We all know that inside of us we have what is called ego, I, myself, the self…
Unfortunately the Essence is bottled up, bottled into the ego, and this is lamentable…
To dissolve the Psychological Self, disintegrating its undesirable elements, is urgent, not to be delayed or postponed. This is the meaning of the work on oneself.
We can never liberate the Essence without previously disintegrating the Psychological Self…
Religion, the Buddha, Wisdom, the particles of pain of our Father which is in Heaven and all of the information we need for the Inner Self-Realization of the Being are in the Essence.
No one could annihilate the Psychological Self without previously eliminating the inhuman elements that we carry within us…
We need to reduce to ashes the monstrous cruelty of these times, the envy that has unfortunately come to be the secret hairspring of our actions, the unbearable greed that has made life so bitter, the revolting gossip, the slander that gives rise to so many tragedies, the drunkenness, the foul, evil-smelling lust, etc., etc., etc.
To the extent that all of those abominations continue being reduced to cosmic dust, the Essence, aside from being emancipated, will harmoniously grow and develop…
Unquestionably, when the Psychological Self has died, within us the Essence shines…
The free Essence bestows inner beauty upon us. Perfect happiness and true Love emanate from that beauty…
The Essence has multiple senses of perfection and extraordinary natural powers…
When we “Die in Ourselves,” when we dissolve the Psychological Self, we enjoy the precious senses and powers of the Essence…
